Describe the job. Pick the tools. Approve before anything sends.
Write the job in plain words, pick a model and tools, and run a test. Every outbound draft waits in Approvals. Nothing is sent until a person on your team says yes.

Describe the job
Write what the agent should do in plain words — the way you would brief a colleague. It works out the steps.
Pick the tools
Look up a contact, summarize, draft email, draft reply, or create a task. Choose a model. That is the live catalog.
Approve before anything sends
Run a test and read each step. Every outbound draft lands in Approvals. Nothing is emailed or booked until a person says yes.
An agent you brief. A person who still decides.
The builder lives in the logged-in app. You write a brief, choose a model, and enable tools. The agent picks the steps for each run. Look up a contact and summarize stay inside the workspace. Draft email, draft reply, and create task only create an Approvals item — they do not email, book, or write to a live system.
Draft email
Prepare an email. It waits in Approvals — nothing is sent.
Draft reply
Prepare a reply to an inquiry. It waits in Approvals — nothing is sent.
Create task
Prepare a follow-up task. It waits in Approvals — nothing is created in a live system.
Look up a contact
Find a sample or CRM contact by name or email. Does not leave the workspace.
Summarize
Condense intake notes or a thread into a short summary. Does not send anything.
Three steps. Then a human.
1. Write the brief
Name the agent and describe the job in plain language. Say what to look up, what to draft, and that a person must approve anything outbound.
2. Pick a model and tools
Turn on only the tools this job needs. Outbound tools (draft email, draft reply, create task) never send — they queue a draft.
3. Test, then approve
Paste a sample situation, run a test, and read the trace. Open Approvals to accept or reject each draft. Approving records the decision. It does not send.

Three briefs you can run today
Use a starter as written, or edit the job. Each one queues outbound work for a person — none of them send.
Real estate / general service
New-lead reply drafter
When a new inquiry arrives, look up the contact if we already know them, then draft a first reply that answers what they asked and offers a time to talk. Queue the reply for a person to approve. Never send the email yourself.
Tools: Look up a contact, Draft reply, Summarize
Clinic
Appointment reminder drafter
Given an upcoming visit (patient name, time, location), look up the contact and draft a reminder that asks them to confirm or reschedule. Queue the message for staff approval. Never send it yourself. Skip people who have already confirmed if the input says so.
Tools: Look up a contact, Draft email
Law firm / clinic intake
Intake summarizer
Read intake notes or a new-inquiry form. Summarize facts, missing documents, and risks. Look up the contact if named. Draft a task for the next human step (conflict check, consult, or document request) and queue that task for approval. Do not contact the client.

Human in the loop. Always.
Approvals is a dedicated inbox. Each item shows the action type, a short summary, and the payload. Filter to pending, then approve or reject. Approving marks the item approved only. It does not send the email, create the calendar event, or write to a live CRM. Rejecting records the decision and still sends nothing.
If you want a checklist of which actions should always wait for a person, use the HITL gate picker. To decide whether a process should be an agent or a fixed workflow, use the agent vs workflow scorer.
Approvals
Drafted outbound actions wait here. Approving marks the item approved only — actual sending is not enabled yet.

On the roadmap — not live yet
We are not attaching dates. Do not plan as if these already run.
Schedules
Run an agent on a cadence instead of only from a manual test.
Slack triggers
Start a run from a Slack message.
Call an agent from a workflow or API
Hand a job from a visual workflow (or an HTTP call) to an agent, then wait on Approvals.
Real sending after approval
Once a person approves, actually send email, write a calendar event, or update CRM. Today, approve only marks the item approved.
Questions about the builder
What is the AI agent builder?
A logged-in workspace where you describe a job in plain language, pick a model and tools, and run a test. The agent chooses the steps. Every outbound action waits in Approvals until a person decides. Nothing is sent automatically.
Does the agent email my customers by itself?
No. Draft email, draft reply, and create task only insert an item in Approvals. Approving marks that item approved. Actual sending after approval is not enabled yet.
Which tools can an agent use today?
Look up a contact, summarize, draft email, draft reply, and create task. Lookup and summarize stay inside the workspace. The three outbound tools queue a draft for a person.
What are the starter agents?
New-lead reply drafter, Appointment reminder drafter, and Intake summarizer. Each ships with a brief and a tool set you can edit.
How do I try it?
Start a free 14-day trial, open Agents, pick a starter or write your own brief, paste a sample situation, and run a test. Then open Approvals to review the draft.
What is coming later?
Schedules, Slack triggers, calling an agent from a workflow or API, and real sending after approval (email, calendar, CRM). None of those are live. We are not attaching dates.
