Tag links so analytics can credit the sequence
Agents and campaigns that share bare URLs hide which touch drove the visit. Add utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign, then copy the tagged URL into the workflow.
How to use the UTM link builder
Enter the destination URL and the three campaign fields. Copy the result. Keep naming consistent — analytics treats values as case-sensitive.

What the tagged URL is for
Use it in emails, SMS, or agent messages where you need campaign attribution. Pair with subject-line length checks when the link sits in an email.
FAQ
What are UTM parameters?
UTM parameters are query-string tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, and optional fields like utm_term and utm_content) that analytics platforms use to credit traffic to a campaign. Google Analytics documents them in its Campaign URL Builder and URL-builder help.
Which UTM fields does this builder set?
It sets utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign on the URL you enter. Spaces in values are replaced with underscores. It does not set utm_id, utm_term, or utm_content — add those manually if your reporting needs them.
Why tag agent and campaign links?
Without UTMs, analytics often shows (not set) for source, medium, or campaign. Tagging sequence and campaign links lets you see which agent touch or campaign drove the visit — as Google Analytics recommends when you set any UTM, set the relevant companion parameters too.
Are UTM values case-sensitive?
Yes. Google Analytics notes that parameter values are case-sensitive (for example google and Google are different). Pick a naming convention and keep it consistent.
Does this send data to Google Analytics?
No. It only builds a tagged URL in your browser. Measurement happens later when someone opens the link on a site that collects campaign parameters.
